Each year in May the NFC Index Cooperative announces the NFC Index® for the previous year. Presenting a cost index annually also allows evaluation of the trend-related development of these costs in the long term. The development of the NFC Index® therefore shows the trend in cost development of facilities.

On June 15th 2009 NFC Index presented the Netherlands Facility Costs Index for offices 2008. The index amounts 91 en for that the facility costs per workplace amounts € 10.434,- in 2008. This year all the data has been collected thrue our new online portal. For more information we would like to refer to our annual report.

On the basis of the reference material which Metri has, it emerges that ICT costs since 2004 have not increased by the price index figure of the CBS (Statistics Netherlands), but have decreased substantially in fact! We based the ICT costs on Metri’s benchmarks with retroactive effect.
