Werner Toele (1953) is advisor on FM and ICT for the City of Amsterdam, www.iamsterdam.com.
After his Master degree in Public Management Toele transformed the Department of Town hall Services into a company that facilitates all departments of the municipal in facility services. He led this department as director between 2003 and 2008. Toele is highly experienced in matters of public affairs; Toele has a financial background, focused in local public finances. He was appointed to Dutch Telecom Manager of the Year 2006.
Since 2001 Toele is Treasurer of the Board of The Facility Cost Index Collaboration, www.nfcindex.nl, a leading index and benchmark for FM industry; he is also involved as a director in other associations and cooperative societies.
Toele is co-convenor of the European Working Group for Taxonomy for FM, EN 15221-4. Technical Commitee CEN 348 appointed him as mediator within and between the Working Groups which establish the European Standards on FM.
